Michael Raileanu: Education and Fun

Michael Raileanu is a speaker, educator, and storyteller like no other! He brings a respect and understanding for our ancient texts combined with a sense of humor and 21st century vibe that makes his appearances into events that are not to be missed.

Michael was born and raised in El Paso, TX and grew up in a family of teachers and dedicated Zionists. Michael got his first classroom assignment at the age of 15 and has been teaching non-stop ever since. He has held leadership positions in every Jewish educational setting, formal and informal, that can be named. He has spoken before groups ranging from preschoolers and their parents to governmental symposia.

Michael is married to Lorie (Beaudry) and together they have four children ranging from 6 - 15. They have known each other since the age of 15 and have shared their odyssey of 2 countries, 4 states, 15 houses and myriad friends and acquaintances.

Topics on which Michael can speak include Jewish spirituality, Dr. Seuss and the teaching of good middot (character traits), and Jewish history. He is available for teacher training, Shabbat Scholar-in-Residence weekends, junior congregation/family services, and special events.
